Do you worry about all the Google Panda updates?
The answer should be no – we leave that up to you!
But just so you know – the latest update is just rolling out. These Google updates target web pages with thin or poor content. If the content was copied from other sites, or if it has poor quality, it won’t rank well.
Have you ever seen a page where the content just repeats or is jibberish with keywords all over the place? Those are the kinds of pages Google is going to penalize. If you’ve taken the time to write good quality content that is relevant to your business then you have nothing to worry about.
Good quality content starts with finding the right keyword to write your content around. Did you know that adding an ‘s’ to the end of your keyword can increase or decrease search traffic by 1000 percent? I’ve seen those kinds of numbers in some of my research. It’s amazing how slight the difference can be in the keyword and how radical the difference can be in the results. It’s worth finding out!
Good quality content is written for the reader, not the search engine. It used to be that you would see a keyword in a paragraph so many times that the sentence didn’t even make sense. Thankfully, that’s one of the things Google is targeting. Write naturally and you won’t have to worry about all these updates.
Good common sense is what it takes some times to get ranked well. All the time spent trying to outsmart Google is coming back to bite them in the butt.
Write with honesty and integrity and don’t take short cuts. It always wins in the end.
