November is Gratitude Month. Here’s my list. What’s on yours?

I decided to take a different track this month. Instead of writing the usual helpful tip I’d like to tell you why I’m grateful for so many things in my life. It’s a little longer than the usual blog so I hope you’ll keep with me.

There are several things just in the month of November to be grateful for:

  • Election Day. The right to vote for the candidate who will run our country. Let’s take that a step further – the right for women to vote for the candidate of their choice.
  • Veteran’s Day. I’m sending an immense thank you to all the men and women who served this country and to the families of the ones who gave the most.
  • Thanksgiving Day. I get to make dinner for my family and share the day with them. It’s truly a special time.

Here are my personal things I’m grateful for in no particular order:

  • Family and Friends. I don’t know where I’d be without them. Especially the goofy ones who make me laugh or give me a hug (or a kick in the butt) when I need it. Many of you have rallied around during the latest family crisis. I can’t say it enough – thank you for your help!
  • Two Incredible Granddaughters who, even as teenagers, still like hanging around with Grandma. I enjoy watching them grow into fantastic young ladies. I can’t wait to see where their lives take them.
  • Business Connections. So many of you have become friends over the years. I am extremely grateful for you and your support (and your business).
  • My Team Members, without you the business couldn’t have grown to offer services my clients were looking for. One person simply cannot do it and do it all well. I’m grateful to have you with me.
  • My Clients. It’s been an honor to serve and help you get your business on the web and I’m grateful you chose me to help you.
  • Memories of family members. My sister, brother, Dad and husband (all in a better world) had birthdays or anniversaries in November making it an incredibly reflective month for me. I miss them.
  • My Kayaking Buddies. Thank you for getting out and enjoying nature with me. It is a passion that is much better when shared.
  • The People who help my Mom. Mom has Alzheimer’s and the people who take care of her are so good to her. As her primary caregiver I’m glad to know that she is well cared for and loved.

I’d love to hear what you’re grateful for – even if you only want to share one thing. Please hit reply or comment below and share yours with me.
